Breaking Free from Burnout: Brandon & Paul’s Path with RockBox

Brandon and his husband Paul are living proof that a career change can lead to greater fulfillment and balance. Formerly a Marketing Executive, Brandon was passionate about fitness and longevity but found himself burning out in his corporate role. Seeking a career that combined his love for health, community, and people, Brandon discovered RockBox Fitness—and the rest is history.

For Brandon and Paul, the foundation of their success has always been simple: treat people right. “Happy employees engage with your members in a different way,” Brandon explains. “It all starts with the team you surround yourself with.” From day one, they focused on hiring team members who shared their values and vision, creating a culture where both staff and members feel supported, motivated, and valued.

Equally important, Brandon emphasizes that what you’re selling matters. “You’ll never feel better than if you are actively engaging in selling a product that makes the population and community around you healthier,” he shares. That philosophy has guided everything they do at RockBox Franconia, from day-to-day studio operations to community initiatives.

RockBox has also positively impacted Brandon and Paul personally. “It’s given me a lot of time back with my husband as we move into this next stage of our life,” Brandon says. “I was burning out as a CEO and working non-stop. Now we have more flexibility and I’m in a much better mood haha!”

Their commitment to culture, community, and impact hasn’t gone unnoticed. In 2024, Brandon was recognized as Rookie of the Year, and just a year later, in 2025, he earned Franchisee of the Year—a testament to the incredible studio experience they’ve built alongside their team and members.

For Brandon and Paul, RockBox has been more than a career change; it’s been a way to create a meaningful impact on the lives of others while pursuing their passion for health and fitness. Every class, every connection, and every smile from a member reminds them why they made the leap—and why they love what they do every single day.
