Their story began in 2010 when they met while training for a marathon. United by a shared love for fitness and a relentless drive to push boundaries, the two became partners in every sense. After getting married in 2016 and relocating to Texas, their journey led them to a new kind of endurance challenge: entrepreneurship. In 2021, they opened RockBox Fitness Southlake, bringing their energy and vision to life in a whole new way.
Mike and Maite first experienced RockBox as members; they found themselves in the best shape of their lives and loving every minute of it. But what truly drew them in was something deeper. RockBox wasn’t just about fitness; it was a platform to connect, inspire, and make a real impact in people’s lives.
As hands-on owners, Mike and Maite infuse the studio with purpose and positivity every single day. Mike, who leads sales teams in the health insurance space, and Maite, who oversees sales and operations in the medical field, both know what it means to lead with heart. That shows in every class, every conversation, and every community event.
