This Workout Is for You
At RockBox Fitness Riverwalk, we skip the mirrors and competitive elements and
make this workout all about you. We don’t pit you against others
and we never judge. Once you get warmed up and your hands wrapped up,
you’ll start punching and kicking your way to a fitter, healthier
you. In our classes, you’ll always hit bags, and never people –
and you’ll never get hit yourself. Our certified trainers will coach
you through various boxing combos before moving on to functional training
exercises. This may consist of working with free weights, kettlebells,
bands, pullup bars, and more. By the end of the 50 minutes, you’ll
have worked your entire body and targeted every muscle group.
No Experience Required
The first question that many of our new members have is about boxing experience.
Never boxed before? No problem. We don’t require any experience
and will teach you everything you need to know, from how to wrap your
hands to how to punch and kick. Many of our members had no experience
prior to their first class, so you’ll be in great company. Boxing
is one of the most effective forms of exercise, and members burn, on average,
over 1000 calories from their workouts. Some members have even lost up
to 25 pounds after only six weeks. Though results will vary for every
member, one thing is for sure: you’ll have fun, get fit, and feel
ready to take on any challenges life throws your way.
